My Approach
Hello and welcome to my site. I feel it is a privilege to do what I love doing, which is to help people through the challenges they are facing. Whether you are struggling with a recent medical diagnosis, experiencing depression, grief, loss, anxiety or not knowing how to move forward in the situation you are dealing with, I would like to help.
I use a variety of supportive interventions that will assist you in your unique situation. You may face similar issues as others but how the situation you are facing affects you may differ dramatically from others.
I believe we can all be empowered to make the changes we need to make in order to live our best life possible.
About Me
In my life I wear many hats. One of course, is that of a therapist. In addition, I am a wife of 33 years, mother to three adult children, a daughter to aging parents, sister and a volunteer in the community to name a few.
I received my undergraduate degree from CSU Chico and my graduate degree from the University of San Francisco. I have advanced training in the areas of Grief/Loss, Cancer Support, and Brainspotting. I am also a Fast Like A Girl certified coach in which I help those that would like to add fasting as part of creating a healthier lifestyle.
Workshops Groups
Often a group can be a wonderful way to feel supported by others facing a similar situation. I have led a women's breast cancer support group for over 15 years. There is no fee for this group.
Lastly, I am available to speak at healing events with a presentation called "Restoring Hope, Finding your Strength and Living with Joy." Please contact me for further information.
Services Offered & Fees
I offer a free 15 minute initial phone consultation and my fee per 50 minute therapy session is $140. I offer a limited number of sliding scale sessions as well. I accept cash, check or Venmo. I can provide a monthly bill that you may submit to your insurance if helpful.
